This year we were proud to host our first every 2018 Kia Stinger Track Day for our staff and customers to enjoy! Located at the YPK Training Facility at Pitt Meadows Airport, a custom course was laid out to take the Kia Stinger "Through the Ringer!" The course itself was the one used to train SWAT and undercover police on, so it showed the capabilities of the Stinger!
We were fortunate enough to have had the professional driver, Randy Cook, there as our personal Pitt Boss and to take the customers and staff on a professionally managed, high speed loop around the track to really show what the Stinger could do! Even in the rain the Kia Stinger handled just as well as if it were on dry pavement!
As Corporate Sponsors of this years Pinoy Filipino Fiesta we experienced the essence of the Filipino culture and all it has to offer! With over 1500 visitors to the event Kia West made its mark for KIA within the community! The food, culture, entertainment and most of all the people were so amazing and it all made this event one to be remembered! The Pinoy Fiesta is hosted every year at the Memorial South Park in Vancouver, BC and is FREE to anyone who wants to come out to enjoy the festivities. Although the weather was not as sunny as the previous years, we were amazed that it did not stop the crowd from coming, which is a true statement of just how fun the event is! We highly recommend to everyone that this is an event to attend every year and we hope to continue our relationship with the Pinoy Fiesta every year ourselves. [Read More]

To give back to the community this year, Kia West decided to stay very local and participate in sponsoring our local communities Coquitlam125 Salmon Art Project. Salmon are an integral part of Coquitlam's story, and we feel as a company bringing this awareness to others that live here is very important.
They remind all of us of the nature that is around us as well as the early residents (First Nations and European alike). The stories that are told on the 12 large decorated salmon's sculptures reflect the city's past, present and future in which we all are a large part of.[Read More]
2015 Kia Drive Change was by far one of our most successful and fun events we planned this year! Being huge supporters of the BC Children's Hospital we wanted to do something for kids locally that would give back to the hospital and really bring awareness to how important they are.
We help an event at our dealership location full of carnival games, prizes, a Show N' Shine and as well as the well known band Chris Buck! Any person who donated $20 instantly got to win a spin on our prize wheel which included tickets to several concerts and events, gift cards, Whitecap's tickets and so much more! We also sold raffle tickets to some of the other amazing prizes we had: BBQ, Base5 Climbing passes, camping BBQ, camping tent and chairs, BC Lions tickets, camera, and so much more![Read More]

For Kia West's 2014 Drive Change contribution, we wanted to continue on with last year's efforts helping children. While last year we adopted a street that had a very busy park located on it, this year we gave directly to a source that helps children out in the most critical time of need: the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
Through a wide range of fundraising events and opportunities, BC Children's Hospital Foundation is united with its donors by a single, simple passion: to improve the health and the lives of the young people who enter BC Children's Hospital every day.[Read More]

The City of Coquitlam created the Adopt-A-Street program to increase community awareness and participation in litter control. Their mission is to maintain a sustainable and beautiful city by encouraging everyone to take an active role. This is a cooperative effort between the City of Coquitlam and its citizens, businesses, and groups who want to improve the appearance of Coquitlam, B.C.
In 2013 our Drive Change goal at Kia West was to adopt a street and help maintain it, by increasing the use and quality for anyone that lives on, drives down, or walks down it. We chose to adopt the 1 km portion of Alderson Street behind our dealership because of the public park that was located on it. We wanted to help create and keep a safe, litter-free environment for all the families and children that use the park, and to improve the appearance of the street overall[Read More]
